Assalamu ‘alaykum/Hello to everyone
Welcome to my new blog. I have decided to write this blog for a long time, but I needed a bit of a push to start it.
I work as a junior doctor in the NHS, training to be a GP. Hence, I still get to work varied environment throughout the hospital and also in the community. What is enough tougher than being a junior doctor, is being a doctor practicing her faith and wearing hijab and jilbab (headscarf and long dress).
I have since have very interesting experiences due to the obvious display of my faith, involving both patients and colleagues. Also, being a doctor is not enough in my eyes, and I am struggling to perfect myself in my personal life and also in my religious life and also in the other struggle of most peoples life-getting married….
I will strive to update this page with my ramblings. It would be nice to hear of all your experiences too, to share them and benefit from each others experiences.
